It is illustration from my own story, already written situation I translated manually. sorry for my english (here is a small part from it, I tried to translate this part well, but in process I realized it was full along of slang, and I dont know how to translate it right way and to translate this one was really really hard) ...
Tsogto strode ahead, while we not hurried and trudged behind. This Warrior could become a great pathfinder in the Khan's army and might could get rich amazingly, but he chose freedom rather than gold obligations. For all the short time that I knew him, I opened almost all the internal quality of a fighter, and I realised the main one: to be on a leash, even bejeweled, - it is not for him.
- I do not like this Tatar*, oh, how I do not like him... - excitedly whispered Timukh, pulled Gorynya's sleeve. - Oh, I suppose he will lead us, into their lair. And there we will get nothing except death..
Gorynya chuckled and stroked his light beard with broad palm:
- What's to expect from him I do not know. But I think, Vera knows who is trustworthy to be our guide.
- Argh, this nomad is a real serpent from bible, he bewitched her. She is a young. Poor girl, she even don't know how real life is and how cruel people may be! - intervened Radko. His own hissing whisper was sounded much more likely, as snakes words.
Voices of the men, even they were whispered, was heared perfectly. I knew, this tone was made good understandable to everyone around us for five steps deliberately! So, Tsogto could hear it too, adn I know, he is pretty fluent in our language to understand what my companions talking about. Anyway, his patience was a right point for envy and respect. He did not pay attention for gossips and rudetalk behind his back. His steps remained serious and confident, he never wavered from those vile words. Only what he done was anxious looks around. He was searching for something out among the columns of trees, and something listened in the silence far away, deep in the forest.
Autumn wind sang cold stories in our ears, same as mercilessly tore the yellow leafs from the branches. Lifeless and bright, they flying, desperately clung to the air. Some of them strike shoulders of pathfinder. Some of them sneak into his empty quiver, and tried to hide there from autumn melancholy. All the rest, they touched the ground and forever fell asleep there.
________
*Timukh named Tsogto as "Tatar", because, many of commoners, in those times dont saw difference between Tatars and Mongols. Golden Horde warriors often was called as "Tatars" no matter how nuch nations was gathered together and joined in.
* Vera, Gorynya, Timukh and Radko not in the picture, they walked few steps behind Tsogto ~ as a story written from Vera's POV, I decided to make drawing from Vera's eyes too, so we can see what sees Vera.
